Dreamscape is the first published work by Rachael Cox.

Strange dreams unfold a story of discovery and intrigue and initiate a journey beyond this world to uncover a family’s dark past.

A sun goes supernova and its nearest planet explodes, hurtling its shattered remains through space with unknown effects. Around fifty years later, fragments find their way into our solar system, settling where they make contact.

Half a century later and fourteen year old Carly sets out on a quest to find her true identity and her twin. Carly was put into care and her identity hidden, why she does not know but intends to find out. Although, she may have been hidden for her own safety!

She has strange visions and dreams, that feel like they come from another life. They lead her on a journey to discover herself, her family and the dark secrets within it.

In a society controlled by the authority and administrated by the Corporation, there are many barriers to overcome in her quest. For anyone else this would be near impossible, but with visions to guide her and the help of her “gifted” friends, Carly will not give up until she discovers the truth.

The alien rock is always present and always relevant to this quest for truth, and may pose new possibilities which impact on Carly’s life and possibly the future of humanity.
